Dropping Google+ Buttons, For Now

We’re dropping our Google+ buttons on our news stories, for the meantime (we just added them in July), because we found that including the Google+ button was actually decreasing the amount of social commenting on other sites–such as Facebook–on our stories, even as it failed to gain any interest in Google+.
