Thanks for the summer job, Ken

Just a quick note, to note the passing of Ken Oshman, the Executive Chairman of Echelon Corp., and to belatedly thank him for one of my first ever, technology startup jobs. My summer internship at Echelon in Palo Alto was my first ever, high tech startup job, and helped spur my interests in the startup world. In addition to letting some punk kid talk himself into a position at the firm for the summer (long story there), Ken let me hang out at his private suite at Candlestick Park, and always had time to answer random questions about running a company. Condolences to Ken’s family, and the rest of the folks from Echelon, ROLM, and others who were fortunate enough to have known Ken.
