Just a quick extra-disclaimer on a story today. Hollywood-based LegalZoom, the online legal documentation website, said this week that it is moving to Glendale, after a fairly high profile fight with Los Angeles over its city tax rates. Although we never cover news due to any advertising or sponsorship relationship, and try to avoid conflict of interest, we did want to add a big disclaimer that the City of Glendale has been a big advertiser and sponsor of socalTECH in recent months, specifically looking to attract companies like LegalZoom to relocate to the city. That does not affect our coverage, but in fair disclosure did want to call that out.
