Hot event for tonight: VCs pitch the startups

In what is a twist to the typical startups-pitch-VC events, tonight’s Meet the VC event tonight by the Los Angeles Venture Association in Santa Monica has, instead of startup pitches, local venture capitalists pitching startups about their firms. In the event, just about every local venture capital firm will talk about what they are about to the audience. If you’re a startup, it’s a surefire way to get exposure to pretty much every local venture capitalist in Los Angeles in one fell swoop–and if you are looking for investors or just want to get to know the community better, it’s an excellent opportunity to connect with the key players in the market. If you’re not already registered, it’s bound to be worth the price of admission.
