Admin note: Email spam filters

Though most folks reading the blog side of things here are using RSS/Twitter/etc. to monitor our news, I just wanted to put out a quick note to remind folks getting our email version to make sure to add our email address (things from @socaltech.com) to their white list — it also helps to contact your email ISP to make sure we’re whitelisted on their side, too.
We’ve had a few keyword triggers this week which put us on the wrong side of a few filters, delaying or redirecting us to spam. (Note to email senders everywhere: watch out for those infamous keywords, “legitimate”, “online”, “pharmacy”, even in real articles!!)
