Great post today on ReadWriteWeb: Technology is Great, but Are We Forgetting To Live?
In the gadget driven world of high tech companies, it sometimes seems like we’re driving toward “the Matrix”–where you’re always connected, plugged in, and spend more conscious hours connected via a screen to the “virtual world” than in the world around you. It may be “high tech heresy” to question the value of aways and always being connected, but it seems to me that it’s worth hitting “pause” sometimes to get some perspective on the world around you.
